This position is dependent on government funding and length of full-time employment term is to be determined (minimum term 15 weeks with a start date of mid-April).
Our Administrative Assistant will need to provide administrative and receptionist duties as required, and respond to questions from the public, process festival registrations, design newsletters, issue receipts, update membership and volunteer databases, maintain the onsite festival office, act as liaison for volunteers, sponsors, and festival members, as well as other duties as assigned. In other words, you will be the hub of a moving wheel!
Experience: we are seeking someone who will be energetic, creative, stress-tolerant, and a hard-working team player, with a professional telephone manner, high level IT skills and social media savvy. Advanced level Word and Excel skills are essential and Mac experience would be an asset. The successful candidate must have access to a vehicle and a valid drivers license.
