Description

MEDIchair provides home accessibility and mobility products such as overhead ceiling track lifts, stair lifts, and power wheelchairs to our customers in Saskatoon and surrounding communities.  We are seeking a qualified full time technician to become part of a mentorship and company sponsored training program that will establish knowledge of our industry.

We are looking for:

A skilled individual who can understand the unique needs of our customers and has a focused desire to provide customer service.

The successful applicant can expect to be challenged with a variety of tasks and must be able to work both as part of a team and individually.  Work atmosphere is supportive and fun while maintaining a professional and respectful attitude towards all employees and customers.  


Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Trouble shooting and repair of components in accessibility and mobility products.

- Preparing materials, tools, and products for the building and installation of accessibility products.

- Assisting in the installation of accessibility products including:  stair lifts, overhead ceiling track lifts, and vertical platform lifts.

- Retaining records of parts inventory and preparing orders.

- Demonstrating to customers the proper use of equipment.

Applicant Requirements:

- Valid Class five drivers license (abstract may be requested)

- Must be able to move and lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Will perform duties both indoors (primarily) and outdoors in all seasons.

- Requires a knowledge of basic electronics and must have a mechanical aptitude.

- Requires experience with a variety of power tools.

Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
