Description

Reporting to the Manger of IT Operations, the Senior Technical Analyst is responsible for providing Tier 3 technical expertise on cross-platform operational and network issues. This includes identifying, analyzing and diagnosing specific server, network or application problems; troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues from Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 support; investigating potential security threats and conducting risk assessments; and planning, maintaining and testing the disaster recovery plan. This position contributes to the planning and implementation of application and infrastructure projects pertaining to new and existing technologies. In addition, the Senior Technical Analyst provides technical leadership and mentoring to Tier 1 and 2 team members. This position is also a member of the IT Change Advisory Board and develops and makes recommendations on changes to the overall technical architecture.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. Microsoft Certified Engineer (MCSE) or Certified Network Engineer/Professional (CISCO) is preferred. A minimum of six to ten years related to work experience representing continuous learning is required.  An acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.
