1  Permanent Part Time Personal Care Worker
For the WAWUHTEWIKUMIHK GROUP HOME

Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services is now accepting applications for 1-Permanent Part Time, Personal Care Worker to work out of the Wawuhtewikumihk Group Home.  We are located at far reserve on the Lac La Ronge Indian Reserve.  Wawuhtewikumihk is a home for mentally and physically challenged adults that operates 24 hours, 365 days a year. We provide a home environment to 8 clients.  . Our main goal is to give our clients a holistic environment to take care of their physical, spiritual, mental and social needs.

Duties:
-Plan, organize and supervise daily activities, recreational and other services;
-Prepare and serve meals as planned; Administer prescribed medications;
-Assess needs of residents on an on-going basis;
-Maintain sanitation of Group Home;
-12-hour shift with master rotation;
-Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
-Minimum Grade 12 or Certificate Personal Care or Rehabilitation Worker Certificate;
-Certified First Aid & CPR and Food Handling preferred;
-Be able to work independently and collaboratively with the Group Home Team;
-Previous home care or childcare experience preferred;
-Current Criminal Record Clearance/Child Abuse Record Check and Driver?s Abstract required upon hire;
-Valid Class 5 Driver's License is an asset.
