Description

For over 75 years, this highly successful retailer has been a fixture in southwestern Saskatchewan. Expansion and business need has created a new and incremental role for a Division Manager - Agronomy; separating it from the existing General Manager responsibilities.  In doing so, you have the chance to join this highly profitable company and assume responsibility for the organization, coordination, and direction of the successful Agronomy departments.

Key responsibilities, summarized, include:

- Responsible for sales, margins, expenses, inventory levels, and sales per employee hour for the department assigned and in coordination with branch locations.
- Oversee and manage business and action plans specific to merchandising/marketing, customer relations, company image/branding, business plan, credit administration, and fixed assets
- Support Human Resources with regards to recruitment, performance plans/standards, staff training, staff relations, and self-development

Your positive performance in this role will be rewarded with a highly competitive and attractive compensation plan, a comprehensive benefits package, along with excellent training and opportunities for advancement.

To be considered, applicable work experience, combined with post-secondary education, within an agricultural retail environment with proven strengths in leading people. A solid understanding of sales and marketing disciplines supported by strong interpersonal and communication skills is required.
