COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR
Permanent Full-Time Position
***Evenings and Weekend shifts are required***
Under the direction of Chief and Council and the Executive Director, The Community Services Director will oversee the recreation department from needs assessment, planning, implementing, evaluation of programs, staffing, and general upkeep of our recreational facilities and equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience in Sports, Culture and Recreation;
Experience in grant writing;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Ability to multi-task and work with minimum supervision;
Ability to work under pressure;
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with a variety of computer programs;
Small motor and machinery maintenance;
Drivers License with a clear Drivers Abstract;
First Aid and CPR Certification;
Criminal Records Check;
Vulnerable Sector Check.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Work in collaboration with the Muskoday First Nation Community School and Saskatoon Tribal Council Recreation Program;
Must be eligible to drive community owned vans;
Reports submitted to Chief and Council and the Executive Director;
Experience in research; preparing reports and Grants Writing;
Knowledge of the Sask. Lotteries Systems;
Maintain Community green spaces;
Other duties maybe assigned.
