Summer Student JobProvincial Airways is an aerial application and aircraft maintenance business located at the Rosetown Airport. Our head office is located in Moose Jaw.
We are currently seeking an individual for our ramp attendant job for the 2015 spray season based at the ROSETOWN Airport. This job will run from June to September or longer if candidate is available with the opportunity to return in the 2016 spray season.
Duties Include:
-Fueling Aircraft
-Loading Aircraft (Chemical in spray planes)
-Washing Aircraft
-Providing support to pilots
-Dealing with customers
-Miscellaneous hangar upkeep
-Keeping a tidy loading area
-Minor aircraft maintenance
Requirements:
-Physically fit
-Ability to work long hours
-Great customer service skills
-Class 5 Drivers License with a good drivers abstract
-Class 3 or 1A a definite asset although not required
-Forklift/Tractor experience an asset
-Quick Learner
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Must have own vehicle or own transportation to work
-General knowledge of farming practices an asset
-Some experience or knowledge of aircraft would be an asset
This is a physical job requiring long hours and intensive labor. This job would be great for a summer student but is not limited to such. This is also an ideal job for anyone looking for a career in aerial application (pilot or aircraft maintenance).
On site living quarters has a room available for the successful candidate, if needed.
