Description

Mardell Farms Ltd., a large, progressive grain farm located at Snowden, Hoey, and Aberdeen, SK, is looking for a Farm Camp Cook and Housekeeper for the 2015 Seeding season. This is a contract position that will begin April 20 to June 15, 2015.

We require a mature, reliable, respectful and independent individual to prepare nutritious, healthy and homemade meals for our farm crew of 10 people. All potential candidates must have at least 2 years experience in meal preparation - breakfast, lunches, supper, desserts and baking. Candidates need to be highly organized, be able to meal plan, can maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen workspace, have knowledge of safe food handling and preparation, are able to work independently and can take direction as needed.

This position also requires some housekeeping which includes daily cleaning of washrooms, laundering of linens and towels, sweeping out of rooms and cleaning of the dining room.

Room and board is provided on farm.

Wages are negotiable depending on experience.
