We are recruiting for the full-time position of Pharmacy Technician.
The individual must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize their workload. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with math, and problem-solving skills are an asset.
The successful applicant will be required to work 5 days per week; 8-hour shifts.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
- Data entry of patient care information
- Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
- Packaging of medications in compliance packaging
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- Handling customer prescription pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
- Ordering and returns for the Pharmacy
