QUALIFICATIONS:  Appropriate candidates will possess a combination of education and experience required to fulfill the duties listed below.  Strong working knowledge/skills in marketing and fundraising would be a definite asset. Experience working in the non-profit sector an asset
Duties & Expectations:
FUNDRAISING:
-the primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the fundraising events for the organization.
-work with the partners involved and promotion of the fundraiser
CRISIS LINE COVERAGE
-the employee will be required to take the Crisis line training nd contribute to the operation fo the 24-hour crisis line
-in the absence of a program coordinator, the Funding Administration Assistant will assist the Director with answering the telephone, greeting walk-ins and directing them appropriately
PROGRAM STATISTICS AND RECORD KEEPING:
-each employee must maintain and submit program statistics as per policies and procedures and direction of the Executive Director
-ALL EMPLOYEES ARE EXPECTED TO:
-follow a strict code of confidentiality at all times
-adhere to agency policies and procedures
-be able to work independently, in accordance to the agency philosophy, mission and goals
-complete administrative documentation related to position duties, including outcome measurements, statistics, report writing, client files, timesheets, and expense claims
-share in the daily maintenance and cleaning of the Centre
-have a valid driver's license
-obtain a current criminal record check and vulnerable persons check prior to employment
