Description

Adecco is recruiting for an Shop Foreman for a full time permanent job opportunity with our client based in Watrous, Saskatchewan. Our client is ideally looking for an Agricultural Equipment Mechanic or Heavy Duty Mechanic who is wishing to move into a hands on foreman role. Currently this dealership operates on a 4 day, 10 hour schedule, 7am  5.30pm with overtime opportunities available.

Job responsibilities for the Shop Foreman include:
-Working within a team environment to diagnose and repair all related systems on agricultural equipment such as tractors, combines, sprayers and seeders (this includes all electronic, diesel engine, manual and automated transmission, electrical, driveline, HVAC, hitch and cab/interior);
-Perform preventative maintenance such as fluid and various filter changes, testing of batteries and lubricating moving parts of equipment;
-Perform inspections on agricultural equipment
-Accurately record all work done for customer and warranty records.

The ideal candidate will have:
-An Agricultural Service Technician Journeyman Certificate or equivalent in training and experience.  Our client is open to accepting applications from candidates holding other trade tickets such as Heavy Duty, Truck & Transport and Automotive accompanied with specific agricultural experience
- Proven knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment
- Proficiency with all tools including electronic diagnostic equipment
- Experience managing a team of technicians is an asset but not necessary
