Description

At RTL-Westcan, we dedicate ourselves to delivering complete, customer-driven transportation solutions.

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Parts and Service Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Shop by ensuring parts are received, sorted and tracked in a timely fashion. This position will be located in an office inside our tractor/trailer shop and will be required to stock parts as well as distribute to technicians as requested.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Order, receive, track and maintain parts inventory through our TMT maintenance system
    Maintain an organized, clean and safe parts area
    Produce and process purchase orders and all relevant paperwork
    Complete follow-up on warranty items
    Data enter employee time cards as well as accounts payable invoices into TMT
    Prepare reports and other documents as required
    Other administrative duties as assigned
The INDIVIDUAL AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    Strong administrative skills and the willingness to learn
    Previous parts experience or education preferred
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of database programs
    Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
    Safety conscious approach to all job duties
