Description

The Family Support Supervisor is required to work day, evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
    Provide outbound and in office support to the FS Team and Program;
    Maintain regular communication with the FS Coordinator;
    Commitment to operating using Harm Reduction Model in all areas of FS and AIDS Saskatoon;
    Ensure team documentation is accurate and up to date;
    Communicate issues or inefficiencies in the FS Program to FS Coordinator;
    Oversee day to day operations of the FS Team in collaboration with the FS Coordinator;
    Responsible for training of new FS Team members in collaboration with the FS Coordinator;
    Provide feedback for FS Team member evaluations:
    In collaboration with the FS Coordinator, ensure the FS Team is following policies and procedures while adhering to Harm Reduction principles;
    In the absence of the FS Coordinator work with the Executive Director to fulfill program duties;
    In collaboration with the FS Coordinator, develop documents for FS best practice;
Qualifications:
    Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indian Social Work or combined education and work experience;
    Minimum 1 year experience in a Supervisory or Leadership role;
    Must agree to Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry, and Vulnerable Sectors Checks and possess a valid Drivers License;
    Competencies in leadership, team building, decision making and big picture thinking a must;
    Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
