Description

Business growth has created an opportunity within the Operations team in our Regina head office for a Junior Business Analyst. Reporting directly to the Director, Initiatives Delivery, the candidate will be responsible for developing detailed business requirements, documenting processes, identifying opportunities for business efficiencies and registering benefits.  

Key responsibilities:
Participate with the Senior Business Analyst and the business in the detail requirements elicitation sessions
Develop both high level and detailed process flows for the solution architects and the business owners
Develop functional and non-functional specifications for the development teams
Liaise with the internal and external development teams
Identify issues and assist with resolving them
Develop test scenarios and provide traceability from requirements through development/configuration to delivery of process workflows and procedures
Conduct functional, user acceptance testing and system integration testing
Create training and reference materials
Develop detailed process flow maps and entity relationship diagrams
Contribute to benefits realizations and change management procedures and policies

The successful applicant will have a post-secondary education with 1-3 years of progressive experience in a business analysis role. We require a creative thinker with exceptional analytical and documentation skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with change management. This individual will be required to work independently as well as in a team environment under tight deadlines. Previous experience in a financial services setting would be considered an asset.
