Job Description:
The successful applicant will work closely with
the Family Support Program Coordinator in
providing service to families in need throughout
the region.
Duties:
* Provide services such as in-home support and
supervised visits
* Provide clients with information such as
parenting
skills and household management
* Implement tools for families to cope
with parenting challenges
* Work as a team with the Family Support Program
staff
* Attend meetings and training as required
Qualifications:
* Practice confidentiality
* Must be positive; client-centered; and non-
judgmental
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Must have excellent organizational skills
Must be able to work independently, be reliable
and self-motivated; however able to take direction
from the Family Support Program Coordinator
* Must relate well with families, co-workers, and
other professionals
* Must have a valid driver's and reliable vehicle
* Must complete a Criminal Record Check and Child
Welfare Check
The successful applicant will be able to work
evenings and weekends and travel within an hour
and a half radius of Biggar/Unity/Kerrobert.
*This is a casual position with variable hours
