Description

Co-ordinates the interviewing and hiring of Drivers.  
Attends and coordinates company representation at regional career fairs, sourcing for manager-in-development and field positions.
Establishes a collaborative working relationship, providing support and advice to operating management on effective human resource recruitment policies, practices and initiatives including market data analysis/trends and preparation of reports.  Provide support to operating management regarding offers of employment.
Provides advice, support and communications to operating management regarding advertising, recruiting strategies and initiatives.  
Provides support and is a resource to operating locations regarding Driver Recruitment Strategies and PPA administration (screening, interviews, short-listing, references, etc.).  
Provide input on manpower, developmental and training issues contributing to organizational effectiveness with respect to change leaderships, organizational structure and design.  Assists operating management in recruiting and conducting interviews both on-site and off-site.
Acts as liaison with Central Services providing support regarding driver recruitment, career fairs and advertising initiatives.  
Maintains awareness of human resource trends, practices or legislation affecting employment related programs, policies or procedures.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
Good working knowledge of various labour codes, regulatory requirements, effective human resource programs, recruiting methods, and Computer literate.  
1-2 years experience in the Human Resource field, with emphasis on recruitment.  
Ability to work with competing priorities and deadlines, and achieve results through peers and managers, utilizing effective delegation, facilitation and coaching skills.  
Ability to take initiative to demonstrate leadership
