About the Organization:
STR8 UP 10,000 Little Steps to Healing Inc. is a charitable organization that assists individuals to master their own destiny in liberating themselves from gangs and criminal street lifestyles. The function of the Outreach Coordinator is to provide support and direct service to marginalized, ex-offenders who are in need of stable housing, meaningful employment, support in accessing addiction related programs and other areas when needed.

Job Purpose and Scope:
Provide support and assistance for outreach services and healing planning for organizational members in and out of correctional services. Such supports and assistance will include delivery of STR8 UP Community Gang presentations within Saskatoon and area, conduct STR8 UP sharing circles with youth and adult offenders and ex-offenders in the correctional system as well as the development and delivery of healing plans. Other areas include gathering and compiling statistical information, completing intake forms, accessing referrals, providing life skills supports and one-on-one counseling when needed. The outreach coordinator will report directly to the program coordinator.
