Description

Eagle's Nest Youth Ranch is a non-profit corporation which provides therapeutic group care to youth from central and northern Saskatchewan.  We are currently seeking (1) one full time/temporary Clinical Caseworker.  Start date to be determined.

The Caseworker will be responsible for facilitating the individualized service plans for youth residing in a therapeutic group treatment program in Prince Albert. The agency takes a holistic and strength based approach to meeting the needs of youth, ages 12-20 years who are experiencing social, emotional and behavior challenges.  The position requires team work, clinical knowledge in the areas of child and adolescent development, assessment and intervention with adolescents, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to relate well to youth and families.  The Caseworker is responsible for assisting youth to access community resources to address their needs, facilitating education and vocation planning, providing group work and individual counseling, completing youth assessments and progress reports, and communicating with referral agencies and families.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in human services and will be eligible for membership in a human services profession, experience working with youth, and an understanding of First Nations Cultures. Familiarity with First Nations culture is an asset.
