Reporting to Casino Assistant General Manager or designate, & functionally to Director of Security & Surveillance at SIGA Central Office.
QUALIFICATIONS - Demonstrated management & supervisory responsibilities from pervious jobs including discipline, employee evaluations, planning & budgeting; Several years in a security position, with a minimum of two years in supervisory role; Completion of a recognized security training course including First Aid, CPR, report writing; Superior communication & organizational skills; Demonstrated superior written skills; Experience in scheduling, policy development, team building, & motivating staff; Excellent customer relations & customer service knowledge; Ability to operate a variety of electronic communication devices, alarms systems; Good computer skills; Good working knowledge of Casino operations; Able to obtain gaming license from Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the security, safety & protection of casino's assets, patrons & employees; Manage security department by providing leadership & direction to security department so as to ensure security & safety of all casino assets, patrons & customers; Directs recruitment process, trains security officers & provides positive direction to ensure casino's integrity is maintained at all times; Ensures that established policies & procedures outlined in SIGA's Security Policy & Procedures Manual are followed by staff; Reviews all incidents reported daily & investigates further when required; Prepares detailed written reports for Assistant General Manager on all incidents on a weekly & monthly basis; Maintains detailed records of all incidents for future use; Evaluates all security personnel during probationary periods & annually thereafter; Develops & maintains positive working relationships with all casino departments, & particularly with Surveillance Department; Acts as Manager on Duty on regularly scheduled shifts; Other duties as required
