Dance Instructor to provide specialized instruction to children and
adults in the area of Cuban contemporary and traditional dance.
Tasks:
Instruct Beginner - Advanced level Cuban dance classes
Choreograph up to 7 pieces per semester
Some administrative tasks
Direct performance showcase
Perform in a minimum of 2 school events/showcases
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years choreography and instruction experience
Experience Instructing children as well as adults
Minimum 5 years professional performance experience
Knowledge and instruction experience in the following dance styles
Afro-Cuban, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Danzon, Rumba, Son, Salsa Suelta
Must have obtained training from a recognized Cuban dance
institute or company
Good communication skills
