Job Summary:
The Workflow Specialists directly support the Kaizen Promotion Officer (KPO). They serve as key team members of the KPO dedicated to supporting the development of a rapidly growing application of Lean Production or kaizen activity across the Sunrise Health Region. The incumbent directly provides for the effective and timely flow of information (and other work) between the KPO and the organization at large, according to defined standards. The position is accountable for supporting the development and maintenance of Kaizen events, certification and training schedules as well as visual communication tools and other infrastructure necessary to support the growing information sharing and progress tracking needs of a Lean organization. The role directly supports the coordination and rigorous documentation of Kaizen, education and training activities to support achievement or organizational goals and implementation of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Management System (modeled after the Global Production System). The position involves regular project work requiring a high degree of independence, creativity, technological applications and personal initiative.
Experience:
3-5 years of successful employment and leadership in increasingly challenging positions. Experience in a health care setting considered an asset.
