Regina Public Schools is seeking a Computer Technician
The Computer Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of computer hardware and software applications, as well as providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for user problems through school-based support. Routine tasks for this position include resolution of support service requests, user account management, troubleshooting, diagnosis, setup and installation of division-owned equipment and maintenance and repair of equipment.
Through several years of experience, the successful candidate will have demonstrated technical knowledge of current PC operating systems and software such as Windows and MS Office, as well as the ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs on computers, monitors, networks and related peripherals. The incumbent will have a proven record of supporting organizational goals as well as demonstrate clear and effective customer oriented communication skills, ability to contribute to a positive team environment and ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
A valid Saskatchewan drivers license is required.
