Description

Adecco Saskatoon is currently looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer for an exciting Full Time 1 year Contract (with the possibility of extending)in Saskatoon, SK. Our client is the worlds leading chemical company, with a dedicated team in Saskatoon for research, development and seed production. As the on site engineer you will be responsible for providing support in design, and operations of the facility. The successful candidate will have approximately 7+ years of experience in a similar role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering: chemical or mechanical, and either have PEng status or be eligible for licence.


Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer will include, but are not limited to:

-Provide expert engineering support for the design of safe, optimized and sustainable facilities while enhancing engineering solutions.
-Conduct improvements studies on processes to meet objectives
-Assist in Plant start-up and troubleshooting
-Supervision of various projects
-Assist in mechanical integrity plan
-Compile operations data in order to justify new projects
-Support operations management
-Support capital project work (PFD'S, Specification sheets etc..)

Requirements:

-Bachelor of Science degree in engineering- Chemical or Mechanical
-Must have PEng Status or be eligible licence
- 5- 7 + years of experience in a similar position
-Knowledge of chemical processes
-Subject matter expert in Microsoft Applications
-Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
-Strong technical and critical thinking skills
-Proven ability to manage facility and major projects
