Description

Net Results Systems Support Inc., Reginas premier IT Support Provider, requires a full time Network Support Technician.

Position
As a key member of the technical team, you will:
Receive, document and prioritize customer requests in our automated ServiceDesk ticketing system.
Review and respond to automated error condition alerts from our Managed Services customer networks.
Provide both onsite and remote desktop, server and network installation and support services in a timely and professional manner.
Document the work youve performed in our ServiceDesk system.
You will be exposed to many learning opportunities that will grow your career and contribute to an expanding organization.

Education and Experience
Computer/IT Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Experience in Windows desktop and server support preferred.
Thorough understanding of general PC hardware a must, e.g. remove/replace hard drives, memory, power supplies.
Knowledge of networking hardware (firewalls, routers, NAS, switches, and Wi-Fi A/P) and PDAs (Blackberry, Android, and iOS) highly beneficial.

Skills and Abilities  
Excellent communications, telephone and customer service skills are essential.
Detailed and team oriented, with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic; willing and open to learn.
Strong problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as be a complete team player.
Ability to prioritize and handle a moderate to busy volume of activity with a quick turnaround.
Self-starter that demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Must have valid drivers license and own vehicle.

Details
As a full-time Network Support Technician position you will be entitled to full company benefits, including cell phone and vehicle allowances, plus matching group RRSP and 5 EDOs per year, following successful 3 month evaluation.
