The Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan facility is one of the newest OSB mills in North America with world class scale and product capability.
An integral member of the site leadership team, you will undertake assignments that challenge and broaden your existing knowledge as you team with sites electrical, quality and operational groups in the process control field and with world class optimization systems. You will also work with companywide process control team resources to promote and ensure consistent standards. Aside from technical skills in such areas as Industrial Process Control design and resources development, the successful candidate will also possess valuable capabilities in project and capital planning. The facility uses Allen Bradley ControlLogix control system with Wonderware InTouch interface. The mill utilizes numerous VFD drives, motion control and network integration to operate and maintain the process.
Requirements:
A confident communicator and self-starter, you bring to the role a relevant diploma. Our preference is experience that has encompassed PLC and HMI programming or related industrial manufacturing experience.
Must be able to think logically and critically with good analytical skills.
Committed to maintaining high safety and work standards.
Knowledge of statistical methods is an asset.
