Description

You will be an experienced Information Technology (IT) Software Testing professional. This position will be responsible for coordinating and performing testing activities for systems that communicate with our integrated patient-centric systems. As an IT professional, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the various products and applications that comprise the service offerings at eHealth Saskatchewan to create custom testing strategies and plans using risk analysis methodologies. You will assist the Manager of IT Testing in estimating and project planning activities, defining and collecting metrics, identifying and correcting process gaps and inefficiencies, and drawing up the testing road map for various products, applications and projects.

A key to success in this role is building strong relationships, having a strong customer focus, a knack for solving complex problems, and making connections (knowing who else to involve and when). To make that happen, you will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, complex technology driven environment. Within our environment, the situations you will encounter arent black and white, so you must be proficient in solving complex problems, delivering solutions, and enjoy working within the gray. Proven experience and skills in effective communication, problem solving, team work, client focus, documentation standards, and a rigor for change management protocols and quality control are also required.
