Harveys (o/a 101178935 Saskatchewan Ltd) located at Rm 52, Lower Level, Plaza Riel, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is looking for one (1) Assistant Restaurant Manager (NOC 0631) to be assigned to the said location.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, the successful applicant is expected to perform the following duties:

    Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service
    Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
    Recruit staff and oversee staff training
    Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
    Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
    Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
    Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
    Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.

The chosen candidates will receive a wage of CAD$18.00 per hour. All federal and Saskatchewan mandated benefits will be provided.

Qualifications:

    Completion of a college degree or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.
    Work experience in the food service sector is required.
