This is a temporary work term, expiring February 2016.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the General Office Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various administrative and accounting functions of four retail co-operatives with a combined sales volume in excess of $100 Million.
Duties will include:
- Customer Service
- Processing purchases and sales
- Assist in preparation of accounting records and statements
- Work closely with all team members to ensure compliance on audits, financial reporting, and reconciliation requirements
- Assist with internal audits
- Maintain confidentiality and conformity to the Privacy Act and Privacy Policy
- Other general office duties as required
We require a highly motivated individual with a positive, professional attitude. Candidates must possess an Office Education, or higher level education as well as the desire to learn and grow. Qualifications would include:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Good team building, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
