Key responsibilities:
Establish and keep up good relations with exiting and future clients.
Supervise local base staff and organize local operational logistics;
Check the availability and readiness of staff, aircraft, equipment, and supplies for continuity;
Carefully manage aircraft availability and use of assets to sustain high level of services for clients;
Report to the Chief Pilot for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft dispatched from the base, including crew assignments, crew co-ordination;
Report to Operations Manager on operational procedures, dispatching, SOP's, company policies, aircraft airworthiness and professional performance of the HTS team;
Responsible for scheduling and assigning of duties to pilots and staff at base;
Responsible to maintain a close liaison with the base engineer to ensure maximum availability of helicopters assigned to the base;
Responsible for effective operation of the base, equipment, personnel and asset conservation.
Key requirements:
High School Diploma;
Excellent English language - written and oral;
Exceptional problem solving and communication skills,
Ability to learn quickly and handle high stress situations, organizational skills;
General knowledge or experience in aviation industry and multi-line helicopter operations;
Creative insight into problem-solving;
Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualification:
Pilot experience on one or more of the following type: BH06,BH407,BH04,BH12
Transport Canada - Operations Manager or Chief Pilot Qualifications;
Operation Management & Logistic experience.
