Job Summary
This positiion is accountable for the sampling and grading of all types of inbound and outbound truck grain to assure fair and accurate dealing of customers with the company.  This postion is also accountable for the proper weighing of trucks and operation of the Ande-Weigh system.  

Job Parameters
This position reports to the Operations Manager or Operations Supervisor depending upon the location, along with other Operations staff.  Specifically, the incumbent is responsible for:
Operate and maintain inspection equipment, obtaining samples from trucks, inspecting grain and completing appropriate certificates.  The incumbent must develop and maintain an understanding of grain quality, grading and inspection procedures.

2.    Assist in training of Inspector Trainees, Probers, and Operations Workers to be working in the inspection area.

3.    As needed work in the accounting area verifying tickets, performing ticket entry and processing settlements.  The incumbent will also assist in the maintenance of the customer I.D. card system.

4.    Provide extraordinary customer service, greeting customers, answering phones, updating grain boards, ensuring cleanliness of the area and stocking vending machines as necessary.

5.    Consistently employ good safety procedures to protect well being of self and others.
