UNCI is a commercial furniture manufacturer that offers a full turnkey product mainly used in restaurant and other hospitality settings. These products include booth seating, chairs, tables, and other custom millwork.
Some of the key responsibilities & qualifications for this position are below:
- Handle all installation components associated with commercial projects requiring install (mainly restaurant establishments).
- Regular travel to work sites. Travel expenses covered by UNCI.
- On these installations, job requirements will include assembling table bases, installing booth bases and booths to match, installing custom panel work, attaching tables to bases, loading/unloading furniture, installing some millwork and some other custom duties that may come up on the scope of work.
- Be familiar and capable of working with power and hand tools.
- Have a clear understanding of schedules that you set out for your subordinates and schedules that are presented to you from upper management.
- Once you are trained in the position, we would require you to handle all training for new employees under your supervision. It will be your responsibility to train them in a manner that is safe and efficient for the company and yourself.
- Have experience in project supervision and understand commercial construction work sites.
- Must be able to carry up to 65 lbs on your own.
- Must carry a valid class 5 license or better. Experience with towing trailers would be an asset.
- While onsite, you are representing UNCI & must be personable with clients and present yourself and those in your department in a professional manner.
- Understand and be capable of reading blue prints, measurements and designs.
- Be able to troubleshoot items on site and come up with creative solutions to complete a project.
