Job Description: Safway Services Canada ULC. is enhancing their skilled and dedicated team to deliver world class scaffold and industrial services to Canada's top oil and gas companies. Our Saskatchewan branch is looking for a Site Administrator for the K+S Legacy site near Bethune, Saskatchewan. This would be to assist our existing team ensuring the safe building practices of erecting and dismantling scaffolding is followed. The position is for field safety meaning it is anticipated that more than 75% of the time is spent in the field to monitor safe work practices.
The Field Safety Advisors essential duties are, but not limited to:
Institution and enforcement of Company Safety Policies
Supervision of field personnel
Conducting weekly safety meetings
Guiding and leading safety investigations on site for the company and client
Site inspections to ensure all scaffolds are erected safely, and that all employees working on scaffolds are following the safety rules on site.
As the successful candidate your skills will include, but are not limited to:
One of the following designations in the safety profession: CSO, CRSP or CHSC.
SCOT or CSTS training is needed for site
First Aid/CPR, Fall Arrest as well as Rights/Responsibilities trained
3-5 years minimum industrial construction setting
Strong computer skills to assist with reporting, investigations, and inspections
Prior experience in the Scaffolding Industry is considered an asset
General Information:
This position is a 14/7 Schedule, working 10 hour days. This position is expected to last 16-24 months. Local individuals will be eligible for daily travel, and non-locals can stay in camp near site.
