Description

The Meal Program Supervisor will have had some exposure and knowledge, as it relates to homelessness and addictions issues.

The Meal Program Supervisor is expected to provide supervision to volunteers and clients who have assigned volunteer hours to complete.

The Meal Program Supervisor is also expected to liaison with our donors and community partners who visit the facility.

There are Meal Program rules for our guests that the Meal Program Supervisor is required to enforce on a daily basis.

Duties & Expected Results:
-interactions with guests, volunteers, and donors will be rooted in dignity of person conveying their worth and value.
-The Meal Program area would be clean, organized, and presentable at all times.  
-All related administration and records would remain up to date and accurate.
-There may be incidents that require extra attention from time to time. Due to various circumstances, the Meal Program Supervisor may need to call emergency services such as police, or mobile crisis.
-The Meal Program Supervisor will need to enforce the rules for all guests.
-The Meal Program Supervisor will need to make sure that all volunteers are being assigned tasks and they are carried through with.
-The Meal Program Supervisor is responsible for handing out meal tickets to our guests when the doors first open and supervising the entrance. They would then help dish out the supper meal. They would help clean up after the meal has been served. They would close down and lock up the Meal Program area at the end of the evening.

The hours of the Soup Kitchen are from 11am until 7pm, Monday through Friday. The Meal Program Supervisor will work five 4-hour shifts between Monday and Friday.
