Reporting to the Manager of Risk, you will:
Develop and implement realization strategies on delinquent accounts,
Be responsible for communicating with members to arrange for timely payment of loans that will suit corporate and member needs,
Take appropriate action to collect while complying with sound business practice, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures,
Manage assets received in lieu of loan repayment and subsequent resale will be required,
Be a resource for other employees where assistance is needed in resolving payment shortfalls and will act as a first point of contact for all members.
As the successful candidate you:
Have completed grade 12 and have at least one year of formal education at a college or university and 1 - 3 years related job experience,
Have previous lending experience and a working knowledge and an understanding of legislation and regulations that are related to loan collections,
Are proficient in Microsoft Office programs,
Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
