Library and Resources Consultant
Northern Lights School Division #113 requires a Library and Resources Consultant to work with school division personnel to enhance system library services. The Library and Resources Consultant will:
- Maintain and promote the use of the professional library.
- Provide leadership for schools and the school division in Locally Developed / Modified Courses / Special Project Credits / Pilot Programs.
- Support the development and maintenance of school libraries.
- Work with the regional library system in Public Library partnerships.
- Maintain a collection of major instructional materials and provide expertise for teachers in their use.
- Provide K-12 curriculum support for teachers with Social Studies / Social Sciences
The successful candidate will:
- Possess a Bachelor of Education, with at least five years of teaching experience.
- Be knowledgeable of current library issues, directions and technologies
