Responsibilities:
Creative Display Saskatchewan is a locally owned trade show exhibit and display company with 10 employees. We require an Office Manager/Accountant for a one year term starting September 1, 2015 to cover a maternity leave. This position may be of interest to new graduates with general accounting and office management training looking to obtain broad work experience, or to other suitably qualified candidates interested in a one year position.
Accounting responsibilities include all invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payables management, payroll, bank reconciliations, receiver general remittances, and banking.
Other office functions include general receptionist duties, ordering shipping and office supplies, general light duty shipping and receiving, booking travel arrangements, preparation of correspondence, general research and maintaining electronic and manual filing systems.
Ideally the successful candidate would be available for training in August, with the formal commencement of the role in September 2015.
Qualifications:
Accounting related Certificate or Diploma and/or minimum 2-5 years accounting related work experience
Experience with Sage Accounting or other computer bookkeeping software
Proficient in use of Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to operate general office equipment
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to organize and prioritize daily and monthly work
Strong attention to details and numerical accuracy
Good writing skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
