Description

The Regina QuAppelle Health Region is seeking a team-orientated and professional Hematopathologist to provide locum services for a one year term, starting July 1, 2015.

The Department of Laboratory Medicine has a complement of 18 laboratory physicians in a variety of subspecialties. The successful candidate will join our team to provide comprehensive hematopathology service to the patients of southern Saskatchewan. Department work consists of diagnosis of both benign and malignant hematologic conditions, including bone marrow and flow cytometry interpretation.

We offer an extensive range of investigations in special coagulation and red cell disorders. The transfusion medicine service provides coverage within the region and support to southern health regions, through the Provincial Transfusion Medicine Consultation Service.

The Regina QuAppelle Health Region is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
