Altus Geomatics is a successful survey company
that provides survey, mapping, remote sensing and

A permanent, full time position is presently
available for an experienced Survey Assistant in
our Saskatoon office. The successful candidate
should posses the following safety certifications

-  MUST have valid drivers license
-  First Aid
-  ATV Safety
-  WHMIS
-  H2S Alive
-  TDG

The Survey Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the Party Chief in completing tasks related to all field surveys including assisting with and recording measurements and analyzing information. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with construction and legal surveys. Some experience with GPS equipment would be an asset.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
-  Assisting with measuring angles, distances and
elevations using chains, total stations and GPS
receivers / Recording measurements manually or in
an electronic field-data collector
-  Analyzing maps, survey data, photographs,
computer records and other information
-  Caring for and maintaining surveying equipment
-  Staking boundaries and underground facilities
-  Collecting and documenting findings as directed
-  Clearing vegetation and debris so that
measurements may be taken
-  Marking boundaries of well sites, utility right
of ways, roadways and parcels of land
