Rock Creek Tap and Grill in Regina at Normanview Crossing is currently looking for a Kitchen Operations Manager.
The Position:
Proven ability to lead back of house staff
Hiring, training and supervising kitchen staff
Scheduling shift supervisors, line cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers
Creating and maintaining a fun and enthusiastic environment while ensuring efficient delivery of all culinary aspects
Ensure that standard recipes and portion control is maintained
Ordering of stock and inventory control
Ensuring back of house cleanliness and an orderly kitchen
Following and training of all industry health and food safety standards
Responsible for ensuring kitchen equipment is maintained
The Successful Team Member:
You must have a passion for creative upscale casual cuisine
Recognize that complete guest satisfaction results from great food in a fun atmosphere
Will be an enthusiastic mentor for all team members
Comfortable in fast-paced environment
Will have several years experience including progressive advancement to a supervisory role
Capable of scheduling and supervising all back of house staff
Understands impact of food and labor costs on the overall performance of the business
Works cooperatively with the Rock Creek corporate chef to ensure consistency across all locations
Remuneration:
This is a salaried position
Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience
