Our client is looking for a mainframe application developer to provide the following:
Day to day production support of provincial Social Services mainframe applications. The Social Services Systems include:
- Family & Youth Services (Family & Youth Automated Payment System)
- Children's Services System ( Child Benefit System)
- Income Supplement System (Employment Supplement System) / Saskatchewan Assistance Plan
- Family Health Benefit System
- Client Index System (Registry System)
- Community Living
- Community & Youth Services
- Family Services
- Social Welfare Services
Troubleshooting services to resolve procedural, technical and requirements for IT solutions.
After-hours support (on-call) approximately 1 week per four week rotation.
Design and conduct testing activities.
Provide conversion tasks from old SWIN system to new Linkin system.
Mandatory requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mainframe application development.
Significant working experience with and knowledge of the following tools/technologies:
- Adabas
- Natural
- EasyTrieve and Vision Builder
- Z-O/S-JCL/Utilities
- TSO
Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering a mainframe environment.
The candidate must be willing and able to participate in an on-call rotation (On-call for approximately 1 week in a 4 week rotation).
