Nipawin Nutrition for Kids (NNFK) is looking for a breakfast coordinator for the nutrition program at Central Park School. NNFK is a community-based organization that provides breakfast to all children, who are in need, and are enrolled in Nipawin schools. The individual must be able to work well independently and with others. He/She will be required to work on regular school days for approximately 2.5 hours per day beginning September 2, 2015. Starting wage is $15.00/hour.
Duties include:
Planning breakfast menus, preparing and serving food
Food shopping
Supervision of students while they eat
Ensure safe handling and storage of food
Maintain kitchen sanitation practices
Manage supplies related to kitchen: check, order, and restock
Keep track of receipts, and breakfast numbers served
Work in cooperation with the Student Outreach worker to prepare snack
Be responsible to the NNFK board as well as school principals regarding the nutrition program
Please note:
Safe Food Handling Course is required
A clear criminal records check is required.
