The Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA), is seeking to fill a permanent full-time position - Nursing Advisor, Regulatory Services.
The Nursing Advisor, Regulatory Services provides specialist/professional expertise or advice to members, internal organization and/or stakeholders. The Nursing Advisor, Regulatory Services assesses, evaluates and determines eligibility for RN, RN(NP) licensure; counsels/communicates with RNs, RN(NP)s, stakeholders and members of the public regarding RN, RN(NP) regulatory and legislative issues. The Nursing Advisor, Regulatory Services acts as advisor to staff advisory committees as assigned and represents SRNA on national, provincial, and local committees of key stakeholders regarding nursing regulation and health policy.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- current eligibility for registration with SRNA
- Master of Nursing degree, thorough & specialized knowledge in program or service area to facilitate service or policy design & development
- demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects
- demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal & written context
- broad knowledge of policy process in variety of settings including regulatory bodies & government
- high level capability in areas of analysis, research & problem solving
- position located in Regina; Travel is required.
