Amec Foster Wheelers Mining business is seeking a Senior Construction Coordinator at our Mosaic Esterhazy project site near Esterhazy, SK. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide support on a major project. Responsibilities:
Establishing and monitoring contract budgets and schedules, including hourly rate and firm price contracts;
Supervising and coordinating the work of multiple contractors on site with respect to safety, quality of work, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, and design documents;
Ensuring that Amec Foster Wheeler and client safety, health, and environment (HSE) programs are implemented and adhered to at all times;
Monitoring schedule and quantities of work completed, identifying mitigation strategies where required; and
Participating in the turnover process by assembling completion checklists and other construction records.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of multidiscipline construction experience on large scale, heavy industrial projects;
Trade qualifications with proven experience in construction civil, piping and concrete activities;
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications; and
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
