Accounts Payable/Admin
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Admin person for a great company here in Lloydminster. This would be a full time permeant position with a salary of $23- 25/hr and 2-3 years of accounting experience required with a working schedule of Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Payables:
Enter Invoices
Track packing slips
Create and manage 6 week cash flow
Pay invoices every Friday via check, get approval from manager
File paid invoices and receipts
Review statements to ensure accounts are up to date
Copy any invoices that apply to job
Safety:
Maintain safety paperwork in an organized fashion
Track daily Hazard Assessments and weekly Tool Box Meetings to ensure the workers are performing their tasks and completing their safety work
If hazards are to be found on the job site make sure they are dealt with and recorded with date and time
Ensure annual inspections are being completed on fire extinguishers by an outside company
Make sure all mobile equipment is inspected as by regulations
Run safety meetings quarterly or as needed
Make sure first aid kits are stocked
Keep company safety manuals up to date
Complete external audits for outside companies when able
Keep up to date on any changes by the ACSA of OH&S
Propane:
Fill cylinders when needed
Recertify cylinders when needed
If needed, do propane runs
Train workers on TDG when and if needed
Keep certifications up on those who do fill and recertify cylinders
Keep TDG Train the Trainer Certification up to date
Assisting Manager:
Order equipment/materials for job sites
Create POs for ordered equipment
Keep job binders up to date so ordered materials can be tracked
Create job binders for each commercial job
Help with pricing for estimates
Write proposals
Stay on top of new jobs coming in for estimating via email
