Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a National Account Manager based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Our client designs, develops and manufactures flexible fabric products tailored to the rigorous conditions of underground mine, tunnel and industrial ventilation.

The Role:

Establish and maintain contact with clients in the Canadian mining market to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and product support.
Develop annual sales plans and strategy for market, aligning with company sales goals and profitability.
Initiate, coordinate and execute development of action plans to improve and expand product line and supply channels.
Provide feedback and updates to senior management team regarding performance.
Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained.
Work closely with the sales team by providing timely updates and feedback to ensure accurate communication with customers.  
Collaborate with operational personnel to ensure production meets sales objectives and activities.
Available to travel twelve to fourteen weeks per year to support responsibilities outlined.

The Ideal Candidate:

Five to seven years' of proven customer service and management experience.
Experience with mining and/or industrial business.
A university degree in business studies is preferred; or a minimum of five to seven years of related experience or training in the mining or industrial sector; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
Problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
Proven ability to motivate, lead and contribute to our sales team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Ability to communicate in English and French.
A valid drivers license and passport is required.
