Description
Western Lands & Forage is a modern run farming company with approximately 7,000 acres that produces oats, wheat, canola and its own alfalfa.  We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Farm Supervisor to join our team and contribute to our success.
Qualifications/Requirements:
    Min 3 years of farming experience
    Some Post-Secondary Education required, preferably in Agricultural field
    experience as a supervisor is an asset
    Class 5 drivers license or equivalent required to drive equipment and get around (Isolated area)
    Experience operating, maintaining and performing basic repairs on large grain farm equipment including but not limited to seeder, sprayer, swather, combine, grain cart, auger etc.
    Willing to work long hours in peak seasons


Responsibilities
    Supervise seeding and harvest operations
    Maintain quality control and production records
    Operate and maintain large grain machinery and equipment
    Farm yard and equipment cleaning and maintenance
    Perform general farm duties
    Perform other duties as need arises and as directed by farmer
