Who We Are
We are a private business that provides service to heavy-duty, truck, and oil field industries. There are about 60 employees on the whole team. Located in Weyburn - a growing, beautiful and modern community in the southern part of Saskatchewan - our brand new building boasts a new shop and a really sweet parts department. In 2010, the business won Expanded Business and Business of the Year in the Weybex awards and was a finalist in the provincial ABEX. . Weyburn is a hub of amateur sporting, arts, and cultural events; a great place for children.
Requirements
The best Rig Shop Lead Hand follows direction and never takes shortcuts or deviates from senior leaderships recommendations but will also have several years of experience and will therefore be comfortable in sharing thoughts and ideas for new ways of completing work in the shop.
The Rig Shop Lead Hand must be a self-motivated individual who requires little to no supervision and can create positive work relationships with multiple types of personalities while gaining the trust of these individuals.
An exceptional Rig Shop Lead Hand is accountable, is willing to learn from all experiences (including mistakes) and will follow through on all requests.
A good Rig Shop Lead Hand will ask questions if they are not sure and they will be a continual learner who is eager to participate in learning opportunities that are offered.
