Drive, deliver, and set-up merchandise at customers' homes
ensuring a Voth's BrandSource positive experience.
FURNITURE DELIVERY DRIVER SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Responsible for delivery trucks and merchandise on the trucks.
- Delivery and set-up of furniture in customer's home, removing
old furniture when necessary. Complete all paperwork involved.
- Maintaining high level of customer service at all times.
- May help with work orders as part of daily delivery route.
- May help unload freight trucks.
- May help unpack and move merchandise to sales floor.
- Responsible for the condition of truck and to write daily truck
maintenance reports.
- Warehouse duties when not on a delivery.
- May inspect and touch up merchandise prior to loading.
- Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
- May be required to install televisions and basic wiring for TV
installation.
FURNITURE DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have valid Saskatchewan Drivers license and keep all
licenses and other required documents current.
- Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written
instructions.
- Heavy lifting required up to 100 pounds. May be required to
carry heavy merchandise up stairs.
- Must wear clean clothes and maintain personal appearance by
following Voth's uniform requirements.
- Must have and maintain a good driving record in accordance
with Voth's requirements.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday and weekends if
required.
- Home Delivery experience is a plus!
