Description

JOB SUMMARY
Sales and Service of all technology products i.e. Trimble, Ag Leader etc. Start up and setting equipment in field for product Sales Department.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Communicate directly with any customers who may have any concerns or issues with service or product performance
    Take steps necessary to try to resolve customer issues
    Customer contact to ensure satisfaction with products after delivery
    Aid Equipment, Service and Parts Departments in promotion of special programs
    Serve as Product Specialist to the sales, service and parts staff
    Provide product training to all departments and end users
    Assist sales staff by accompanying them on sales calls
    Operation and promotion of Precision Farming Technologies
    Assist in the delivery, setup and training of end users
    Assist salesmen with demonstrations of all product lines, in particular combines

OTHER FUNCTIONS
    Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS
    Industry experience required
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Excellent customer service skills
    Farm background desirable
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Working knowledge of precision farming
    Mechanical experience as on road technician
    Ability to setup, deliver and demo equipment
    Ability to travel within region and to be able to work with limited supervision
    Experience to operate and set large farm machinery
    Valid drivers license required with verifiable safe driving history





PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Ability to see, hear and speak well enough to use a telephone, computer and cell phone, and to present and explain product details to customers
    Ability to drive vehicle for extended periods of time
    Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
    Follows all safety rules, regulations and policies
    Ability to bend, stoop and pick up objects
    Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally
