Description

Quadriplegic female requires staff to work within her home to provide all aspects of her care.  Client requires a ventilator and electric wheelchair to manage daily activities.

Potential for Full Time employment with guaranteed scheduled shifts in a 6 week period. These shifts are 8 hrs each and would include some days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.  Opportunity for more shifts with sick and holiday coverage (Christmas, summer, etc).

Duties would include:
* Providing all aspects of personal care
* Monitoring ventilator
* Accompanying client for all outings
* Assistance with daily living

Applicants Considered:
* Special Care Aide/Home Health Aide/Continuing Care Assistant, other medical backgrounds or experience in providing personal care.
* Current CPR or willingness to obtain
* Transfer, Lifting and Repositioning experience
* Willingness to learn procedures and provide care in: Tracheostomy/ventilation; Total Personal Care
* Orientation and ongoing training program is provided
* Criminal and Vulnerability Record Check is required
* No allergies to pets
